These notes are highlights from the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting on 1st March 2010 and will be published in the Parish Magazine in April 2010.
a) 6.68.5.D.FUL Installation of 10 replacement windows at The Royal Oak, Copgrove Road, the plans were considered and the council agreed to respond with no objections.
b) 6.68.158.C.FUL Formation of a new vehicular access at 4 Sunnyside Gardens, the plans were considered and the council agreed to respond by supporting the application.
c) 6.68.94.A.FUL Erection of replacement upper section of rear conservatory at Barn Cottage, Station Lane, the plans were considered and the council agreed to respond by supporting the application.
d) 6.68.172.FUL Erection of a two storey rear extension at Laurel House, Station Lane, the plans were considered and the council agreed to respond with no objections.
e) 6.68.152.A.FUL Conversion of loft and installation of 5 roof lights to rear and balcony to front at The Birches, Scarah Lane; planning permission was granted on 11th February 2010.
Local Development Framework (LDF) update; to discuss.
The Council’s web pages on LDF have been updated showing involvement currently being undertaken on the Sites and Policies DPD at www.harrogate.gov.uk/harrogate-6424 . There will be focus on rural areas starting in September 2010. LDF consultation newspapers will be circulated to all households and businesses in rural areas inviting comments.

Open and Annual Meeting
This year the open and annual meeting will be held on Monday 10th May at 7.30pm and we would like to invite representatives from all the village clubs & societies.
The next meeting will be held in St Leonard’s Hall on Monday 12th April 2010 at 7:30pm. Members of the public are very welcome to attend the meeting and we invite people to raise their views and concerns at the beginning of the meeting or in writing to the clerk.
