Parish Council Notes – June 2012

These notes are highlights from the minutes of the Parish Council Meetings on 14th May together with information since the meeting and will be published in the Parish Magazine in June 2012.

Highways
There are many issues that are ongoing with Highways regarding road markings, signs, pot holes and the flooding area on Station Lane. Please be assured that the parish council are doing everything they can to ensure that maintenance is carried out as required.

High Green Yew Trees
The planning notification for the yew tree maintenance has been approved.  Works will commence in the near future.

Planning
The parish council have received notification of a planning application for the erection of a 11kW wind Turbine on 18m high mast at Land West of Park House, Station Lane, Burton Leonard.  This application will be discussed at the next parish council meeting and the plans will be available to view.

Next meeting
The next meeting will be held in St Leonard’s Hall on Monday 11th June 2012 at 7:30pm, members of the public are invited to listen to the chairman’s report, raise their concerns and observe the business of the meeting.
