Flats House Development
No further information has been given regarding this development.

Shrubs overhanging pavements
We have received complaints about several areas in the village where the pavements are being obstructed by overgrown plants such as buddleia, clematis and other plants & shrubs.  Could residents please ensure these are cut back and maintained so they do not cause an obstruction?

Low Green Drainage Project
Success!!  We have secured a grant of £6100 to pay for the work required to prevent future flooding on the low green.  Many thanks to everyone for their support.  If all goes to plan work will start on 30th September 2013.

Free Community Trees
Our website poll showed 8 people who are interested in applying for the 30 sapling pack, 6 of which have volunteered to plant the trees, no interested has been expressed in writing.  One suggestion was received regarding the location of these trees: ‘I think a suitable site would be the wide verge between Apron Corner and the bottom of Scarah Lane along Lime Kiln Lane’.

Unfortunately it was felt that there was not enough village interest to apply for any of the packs at this time.
