Parish Council Notes – January 2014

These notes are highlights from the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting on 2nd December together with information since the meeting and will be published in the Parish Magazine in January 2014.

Planning
The following planning notification has been received and it will be available to view at the next Parish Council meeting:

6.68.180.COU Change of use of field to campsite and log cabin to be used as communal facilities at Log Cabin, Woodlands Farm, Burton Leonard HG3 3SX.

LDF Development
We have received notification that the District Sites & Policies Document (DPD) previously known as Local Development Framework (LDF) has been submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination on 29th November 2013.  A public enquiry is likely to take place in Spring 2014.  If you require further info please email the Planning Policy team at planningpolicy@harrogate.gov.uk or phone 01423 556586.

Bulbs
We have again received a huge bag of daffodil bulbs from the HBC planting scheme.  A massive thank you to Walter, Chris, Paul, John, Derek and Harriet for planting the bulbs on the low green where it has been recently re-seeded after the new drains have been installed.  We will look forward to seeing them in Spring!

Next meeting
The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held in St Leonard’s Hall on Monday 6th January at 7:30pm, members of the public are invited to raise their concerns and observe the business of the meeting.
